State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine

State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine "SAEE" is a central executive body, an activity of which is governed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and that implements the state policy in the sector of Natural Gas Substitution, projects on Energy Saving, Renewable Energy Sources and Alternative Fuels in Ukraine.In order to reduce energy dependence of Ukraine, issues of energy efficiency and renewable energy were estimated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as a key priority. Ukrainian Government has approved the National Action Plan on renewable energy up to 2020, which sets an indicative target for the share of energy from renewable sources in gross final consumption in 2020 – 11%. Ukraine has a great interest in attraction of foreign technologies, experience and investments into the sphere of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency measures.SAEE Structure:- Renewable Energy and Alternative Fuels Department - Investment Activity Department- Energy Efficiency Technical Regulation Department- Strategic Development Department (Project Management and International Cooperation Division)- Department of Traditional Fuels Substitution- Law Department
